For school aged youths going into
fifth grade in September and older.
For the first time we are offering a summer reading
program for teens and 'tweens. Every time you check out a book or
audio book from the library you will receive a raffle ticket.
Write your name and telephone number on it and you will be eligible to
win prizes from local businesses such as tickets to the movies or gift
certificates to local restaurants.
We will also be doing special programs. On Wed July 16
at 3:30 we will be offering a beading workshop. Take home a
work-of-art of your own! Be sure to call to register at 279-4303.
Wednesday July 30 be sure to drop in for our Read-A-thon. Bring your
favorite books and a comfy blanket or pillow to curl up and read
silently from 5:30-7:30pm. We will be having frequent snack and
pizza breaks.
Wednesday August 13 from 5:30-7:30pm join us for the end
of summer party including pizza, Guitar Hero and Dance, Dance Revolution
contests. We will be doing a special raffle just for those who
come to the party.
