3d Printer
We have a PRUSA Mki3 available for public use.
Before using the printer we ask that you contact the library to schedule a time with staff to go over the basics of 3D printing and the operation of the printer.
Create or Acquire a 3D model.
Create: FreeCad, Tinkerad, Blender, Sketchup
Acquire: Thingiverse, Grabcad, Cults
Bring your model to the library to be sliced for use with our printer or, if you choose to, you can slice it at home. To keep things simple we recommend using Prusa's own slicing software (here) pre-configured for the i3 MK3S / MK3S+ with the default 0.4mm nozzle. The slicing software will also give you an estimated print completion time based on your settings.
