The Meredith Public Library benefits from a wide collection of digital titles via Overdrive. All you need is a library card with us and you can plug in and take your reads on the go. Our ebook collection also has many titles that we do not have in our building. So, whats new for ebooks and eaudio books this month? The Race by Nina Allan: This is Nina Allan's debut novel -- a piece of speculative fiction set in a future Great Britain "scarred by fracking and ecological collapse" (1). One Goodreads user calls it: "rewarding, thought-provoking and beautifully written" (2) Read this if you enjoy speculative or science fiction, dystopian backgrounds, multiple narrators, and stories about flawed characters. I've Got Sand In All the Wrong Places by Lisa Scottoline: This one is a great summer read for your trips to the beach. Just don't get the sand in all the wrong places of your book! This is a collection of short stories which Goodreads calls "warm and witty" (3). Read this if you enjoy cozy beach reads, humor, and short story collections. Dog Gone by Pauls Toutonghi: A story about a lost dog and this family's search to find him and bring him home. This one is an audiobook.
Listen to this if you need something to listen to when you are traveling, love dogs, and enjoy nonfiction. You can find all these and more on our digital catalogue via Overdrive. Set it to: Meredith Public Library. Make sure you have your library card number and you're ready to go!
