UPDATE: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update April 3: In keeping with Governor Sununu’s mandate, the Meredith Public Library is closed until at least May 4. Because it is unclear how long the virus can live on books and other materials, we will not be circulating items. Everyone’s items will be renewed until we reopen. Please disregard any overdue notices. Our book drop is locked, so please do not return items at this time. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update March 18, 8:00AM: In keeping with Governor Sununu’s mandate to close all NH schools and certain businesses in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, the trustees of the Meredith Public Library have voted to close the library through April 4. Because it is unclear how long the virus can live on books and other materials, we will not be circulating them. We have renewed everyone’s items until April 6. Please disregard any overdue notices. Our book drop is locked, so please do not return items at this time. The staff is working on ways to provide reference and virtual service to our patrons. They will also be working to prepare the building for renovation and expansion. Email us at librarian@meredithlibrary.org with any questions or concerns.
