February is Library Lover’s Month and our theme is “Try Something New at the Library.” Along with some interesting classes, we are introducing a new service called BingeBundles, sponsored by the Friends of the Meredith Library, as are all of our classes this month. Have you ever wanted to try a subscription service that sends you new books to try along with some fun goodies to go along with them, but couldn’t afford the $40-$50 per month to join? Now you can “subscribe” with us and all you need is your library card! Must be age 18 or over.
Pick up a form at the Main Desk or fill out online off of our home page. We will ask you questions about types of genres and formats you prefer, your snack preferences and some other fun questions. Then we will pack up your mystery items (limit of 4) along with some fun surprises in a shopping bag. The items will be checked out to you so you will need to return them, but the surprises are yours to keep. If you like the service, tell us to do it again (on our “How did we do” form), and we will send you a new bundle NEXT month. More on the “How did we do” form...Be honest with us. Did you like our selections? Your answers help us to make better choices next time. We also hope that you’ll try learning something new at the library such as yoga, knitting, watercolor 3D Printing, Chess or a Sassy Step & Stretch class.
