Libby is a wonderful app that lets you easily navigate Overdrive and check out ebooks and eaudiobooks using your library card. With a few “taps,” you can sign in using your library card number and access the thousands of ebooks/eaudiobooks that are available from New Hampshire’s State Library catalog. So, how do you get started? The first step depends on the device you use. Libby is completely free. If you use an iphone, you can download the Libby app from the app store. If you use an Android, use the Google Play Store. If you want to access Libby from your Windows PC, you use the Microsoft Store. Once you download it, get your library card at the ready and follow the instructions on the device. “Libby” will pop up and chat with you about how to get started. Once you add your library card number, you will be able to put in your location to find your closest library. Select “New Hampshire State Library.” Then you will be able to select us out of the list of NH libraries that share ebooks. That’s when you’re ready to start borrowing!
