The library staff donned their “Oceans of Possibilities” t-shirts to welcome everyone to the Summer Reading season. With raffles, events, and prizes we have something for everyone this year.
The Blue Ocean Society will have a life-sized whale on the lawn that families can enter and learn about whale anatomy. Wildlife Encounters returns to the Community Center with a fun array of animals. Go shopping for summer reading prizes at the Seashell Shop. Read more about these things in the Children's section.
Classes for teens will be offered in the Maker Space including watercolor painting and sewing. Learn how to make paper and keep a lunar journal. Read more about it in the Teen Section.
Adults are also invited to join in the fun with the return of Summer Readers’ Tic-Tac-Toe. Each week we will raffle off a $25 gift card to a store or restaurant in Meredith, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. You can enter as many times as you like but may only win once.
